I have absolutely no idea why I never posted these pictures. I asked myself this question a few times and finally decided to do something about it. Last year, right after celebrating Christmas in Malaysia, I spend a whole week in Singapore. It was a really good week; full of friends, adventures, amazing food and new places. We had enough time to explore all the different sides of Singapore. The modern part; all the new, shinny skyscrapers and the amazing view from one of the most popular hotels in the world Marina Bay Sands. The multicultural aspects; we went to Little India and China Town. We’ve tried many different Asian cuisines. We spend a really fun day on Sentosa at the Universal Studio, we would hang out at the beach and at the River Safari I saw a panda for the very first time in my life. We would end every day at Orchard street; the main shopping area of Singapore, with a cup of coffee or tea, just chatting about everything and anything.
From what I’ve seen in Asia, Singapore is one of my favourites so far. It’s a place where I could really see myself in the future. It’s very modern and at the same time it’s a melting pot of so many different cultures. It feels like you get the best of both worlds; amazing, modern city and beautiful nature, beaches and palm trees. All these pictures bring up many great memories and I really hope that one day I can go back.
