Sometimes it’s hard to say what is it about a certain place that makes you feel like there is something special about it. I love traveling. There is nothing better in the world than getting on a plane and going somewhere, and for me anywhere is fine. I don’t think I ever been to a place that I actually didn’t like. Of course there are places I like more than the others. This year was a lucky year for me. I’ve not only moved and lived on another continent but I also got a chance to see so many new places and I loved every single one of them.
I could talk about China for ever. It’s such a crazy interesting country. Thailand is just so beautiful. The most amazing beaches, beautiful temples and breathtaking landsapes. Malaysia turned out to be such a surprise. Kuala Lumpur was a really interesting city, shopping was great and food was super good. I really want to come back and see more. Singapore is a fascinating country and it’s a place where I could see myself. But if I would have to chose only one of them, the one that really stole my hard I would say Hong Kong. There is just something about this city that made me fall in love and feel this weird connection. So next time I will get a chance to go Asia, Hong Kong will be on top of my list.
In Europe Monaco is one of these places that for some reason never fails to amaze me. The way to Monaco from Nice is already an experience itself (see the previous post) and the city itself is just so pretty. It’s located in-between mountains and sea, which makes it even more spectacular. Colourful buildings, blue sea, white yachts, palm trees and flowers. There is beauty everywhere.I’ve been to Monaco a couple times before and I decided that this is a place where I would want to spend my birthday. So this year I spend my birthday wondering through streets of Monaco, followed by a relaxing late afternoon at the beach and a really good French dinner.
