If I could give one piece of a really good advice to anyone who is traveling to South of France it would be, take a bus or drive a car from Nice to Monaco, because the views are just spectacular. There are so many beautiful places by the French Riviera, but the best way to get a real taste of this beauty is to drive and see it all from above.

Last year when I was in Nice with a friend, we were looking for a best way to get to Monaco. The receptionist at our hotel recommend us to take the bus from the Garibaldi Square (which is a very pretty place by the way, located only about 10 minute walk from the famous Massena Square). This year we did it again and it turned out to be one of my favourite experience during the trip. It’s so worth it. Trust me I’m not the biggest fan of traveling by bus. Trains or metro are usually much more convenient, but this case is worth exception. I think it’s all about the fact that in a bus you sit higher, so you’re able to se more. The bus doesn’t go very fast, it drives through the pretty little towns on the way and it stops a lot, so you’re able to see more than you would in a car.

Driving in-between the sea and the mountains, seeing all the yachts, beautiful houses in the mountains, and pretty little beaches and ports in the bottom of the hills is just a breathtaking experience. It’s just such a beautiful place and the pictures I took on the way are probably my favourite ones from the trip.
