Traveling is probably the best thing ever. I still remember very well how I felt about the early morning 4 hour long boat cruise on the Li river (after a night out), but now I would give a lot to go back. I mean come on, that was a boat cruise from the 20 yuan bill! Not just a random cruise. Being in my room now (and yes, it IS Friday) and studying for HSK makes me realize that after all even the boat cruise was a good experience. After the boat cruise we went to this little cute town 阳朔 Yangshuo, which had a bar called Kaya and a pizza place (highly appreciated after a few days of rice for breakfast, lunch and dinner).

Another fun thing we did in Guilin was sliding down the slide, which was built on a hill. We climbed the hill and then went down the slide in these big green pants (that you can see in the picture). Definitely a very cool thing to do. Beside that we’ve seen at least a few very interesting national parks with some very interesting rocks (but I unfortunately forgot to take a picture) and a huge cave with fake colorful lights. It was a Chinese University trip after all, which we’ve been reminded of every time we got on our bus and the tour guide would speak very fast and in Chinese of course, so usually we had no idea were we were going. But it was a good trip for sure.
